You will be responsible for the delivery of new chemical processes,the successful scale up of manufacturing chemical batches and the qualification of new raw materials. This is a highly versatile role, where you will have the freedom to identify gaps in your skillset, and select specialist training to upskill yourself, enablingyour ongoing progression.The role:

  • Improving the efficiency, robustness and operability of existing product chemistries and processes
  • Developing new chemical processes
  • Improving understanding of the chemical reactions that occur during the lab and manufacturing processes
  • Designing and carrying out laboratory scale experimental chemistry work to develop manufacturing processes
  • Ensuring new raw materials are assessed for safety and supplier approval
The person:
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • Practical experience in a similar or related role
