* RF* Antenna DesignPrincipal RF Antenna Design EngineerReqiva are currently seeking a Principal RF Antenna Design Engineer to work for a growing technology company who are based in Central London.The successful Principal RF Antenna Design Engineer will be responsible for design, development, simulation and evaluation of phased array Antenna Boards.Responsibilities for the role of Principal RF Antenna Design Engineer will include.* Working within a small team of engineers to specify, design, simulate and implement custom Ku-Band / Ka-Band transmit and receive Antenna boards.* Perform RF EM Simulations using the latest HFSS and ADS to ensure the designs meet specifications* Work closely with all teams including Hardware, ASIC and System Test teams to effectively support the integration and evaluation of these designs into high-density, multi-layer PCB Layouts and Antenna Modules.Essential Skills and Experience required for the role of Principal RF Antenna Design Engineer will include.* Highly Experienced within RF and Antenna Design and measurement within a commercial environment.* Proven experience in antenna design and product development covering a range of microwave frequencies. Experience with the characteristics and design of various antenna types.* Solid understanding of antenna theory, phased array principles, and electronically steerable arrays. Ability to capture requirements and distil them into a written specification.* Able to demonstrate a solid understanding of RF Antenna Design and modelling using HFSS and ADS; knowledge of HFSS Domain Decomposition Method a distinct advantage.Our client offers and excellent package which is dependent on experience but ranging from £60,000 to £75,000. Presently all Engineers within this team work from home for 2-3 days per week and 2 days in the office in London or Cambridge.
