Were looking for a postdoc to further develop our reputation in this area. The postdoc will have exposure to the different phases of drug development and evaluation, and have close interactions with experts of various backgrounds, including clinicians, epidemiologists and health economists. The postdoc’s innovative statistical work has the potential to make a vital and lasting impact on patients’ lives.What more can you ask for in your careerThis postdoc will join our collaborative and supportive SIRE (Statistical Innovation – Reimbursement Evidence) group, supervised by Dan Jackson.The postdoc will undertake statistical work concerning Matching-adjusted indirect comparisons (MAIC) and related methodologies. This will begin with a critical evaluation of existing approaches. Methodological work will focus on the effective sample size of samples after performing population adjustment, and the development of new statistical methods. The postdoc will have the opportunity to undertake applied work and use these methods in drug projects. They will also be responsible for writing scientific papers, presenting conference talks, giving internal presentations, developing training courses, and writing guidance documents.Essential Education and Experience:
