Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Pilot Plant Technician for an initial 6 month contract to join our dynamic team in Cambridge. You will play a crucial role in operating the manual and semi-automatic assembly equipment across the entire pilot manufacturingprocess. This position requires occasional travel to different sites, ensuring seamless technology transfer across our global operations.Initial Contract of 6 months. Opportunity to extend or go permanent if successful. Full Training Provided.ResponsibilitiesOperate manual and semi-automatic assembly equipment across entire pilot manufacturing processTo manually & automatically assemble products and intermediatesComply with all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental & COSHH requirementsContemporaneous completion of quality documentationAble to follow detailed work instructions and protocols precisely Work with R&D teams to Identify improvementsEnsure the efficient running of Assembly equipment during manufactureInventory managementRequirementsBachelors degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Engineering) or equivalent experience.Not essential, experience in a manufacturing or pilot plant environment would be useful.Not essential, knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements, but would be useful.Ability to use analytical instruments and data analysis tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.Flexibility to travel to different sites as required.BenefitsCompetitive salaryOpportunities for career growth and professional development.Access to cutting-edge technologies and scientific advancements.Collaborative and inclusive work environment.Pension scheme and other additional perks.We are an equal opportunity employer, and we welcome applications from all qualified individuals.
