Title: Pharmaco-EpidemiologistSalary: 50-70k Depending on ExperienceLocation: Cambridge [Remote working available]An opportunity has opened to join an Independent Research Organisation distinguished in building and accessing global data sources to drive change in clinical practice around the world. They are looking for experienced Pharmaco-Epidemiologists who can join their team of established research professionals and help drive their function forward.Your responsibilities will be:Leading research proposals for academic and commercial clientsContributing as an author to journal publications, conference abstracts and postersDeveloping statistical analysis plans and conducting analyses for clinical database studies, registries and pragmatic randomised controlled trialsLiaising with study sponsors and steering committee experts throughout the projectTaking leadership of a project team from idea generation to delivery of the study outputsCritically reviewing the work of other members of the research team and mentor less experienced members as necessaryPresenting at international conferencesExperience and Key SkillsAcademic training and practical experience in health outcomes research, epidemiology, or pharmaco-epidemiologyExperience of leading health research projects from start to completionAnalysis and dissemination of real-life research from large-scale observational studiesProtocol and Manuscript writing Authorship of journal publications (at least 10 peer reviewed publications)Essential to have proficiency and demonstrable experience working with large relational healthcare datasets (in excess of 100k)Statistical analysis using Stata, R, SQL or MySQL Biostatistical experience: regressions (logistic, conditional), survival analysis Client relations, liaising with external parties internationally, strong leadership and presentation skillsExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsIf you believe you are the suitable candidate for this position, please email your CV or any queries to
