Job Description

I am working with my client to source a Payroll and HR Systems Manager (iTrent). This critical role involves managing and ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of the outsourced payroll services, as well as overseeing the HR systems and datamanagement.Key Responsibilities:Payroll & Benefits Management:

  • Oversee the accurate and timely operation of payroll, pensions, and benefits administration.
  • Collaborate with our payroll provider (MHR) to reconcile reports and address any potential errors prior to final approval.
  • Research and verify data related to pension queries.
  • Manage various benefit schemes, such as cycle to work, discount vouchers, and travel season ticket loans, liaising with providers as needed.
  • Ensure all payroll inputs and checks are completed before submission for approval.
  • Lead communication and coordination with HR payroll and benefits providers.
  • Support financial modelling and the annual pay remit submission process, implementing changes resulting from salary reviews.
  • Develop and regularly review guidance documents, continuously improving efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay current with relevant regulations, inform stakeholders of changes, and take appropriate actions.
HR Systems Oversight:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR Information Systems.
  • Ensure HR systems are user-focused and responsive to user queries.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in using/reporting from the HR system to generate reports for audits, management reports, KPIs, and workforce analytics.
  • Analyse results, identify areas for improvement or concern, and format results in accordance with data protection policies.
Personal Responsibility:
  • Collaborate with the HR team to deliver a comprehensive HR service.
  • Take ownership of personal development and network with HR professionals in other organisations.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in payroll management and HR information systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and data protection principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, matrix-based work environment.
