Job Description

Due to expansion, we are actively recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a small accountancy practice based just South of Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.Working in a bureau environment where you will be running payrolls for multiple clients, duties include:

  • Calculating payroll on behalf of clients, including all statutory calculations - SMP, SPP and SSP
  • Producing payslips, reports and payment schedules
  • Uploading pension contributions
  • Processing all BACS/Bank payments in connection with salaries, HMRC liabilities, expenses and supplier payments
  • Setting up and registering new payroll schemes with HMRC
  • Processing monthly RTI requirements
  • Producing P60/P45/P11D
  • Working with clients to ensure they are auto-enrolment compliant
  • Other admin duties including timesheet records, allocating time and expenses recharges
Applications are invited from individuals with following skills and experience:
  • Previous experience/exposure to payroll is essential
  • Able to work with a high attention to detailto given deadlines
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude
  • IT Literate - BrightPay software experience would be advantageous
