Job Description

Working for this Cambridge based school, term time only you will provide high level administrative support to the Schools pastoral team for key pastoral processes and events.The post-holder will take responsibility for co-ordinating across functions and communicating with all those involved. This will require both planning ahead and exercising initiative to solve problems as they arise, referring to senior staff as appropriate. This role is based on £27,684 FTE with working hours of 37.5 a week, term time only (+2)A full job spec is available however you must have the following skill set please: Proven successful experience of working in a fast-paced administrative role with changing priorities A strong customer service ethos and an excellent telephone manner A high degree of accuracy, close attention to detail and a conscientious approach Excellent organisational skills; the ability to plan and prioritise, whilst multi-tasking across a range of areas of responsibility Well-developed written communication skills, with an excellent standard of literacy Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior staff, parents, pupils and external bodies, handling confidential matters with tact and discretion Well-developed ICT skills with a strong working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and databases Initiative and practical problem-solving ability; a flexible approach Confidence working under your own initiative and as part of a team Resilience and ability to remain calm under pressurePlease call Julie to discuss further.
