Part-time Payroll SpecialistA leading independent biotechnology company, with multibillion global revenue are seeking a Part-time Payroll Specialist. An outstanding opportunity exists for an experienced payroll professional to join the team based in Cambridge. In this pivotal role the Payroll Specialist will work alongside our existing payroll specialist who will be dedicating their time to rolling out a large project.Location: Office based in Cambridge - however candidate will be working remotely. Pay rate: 25 per hour Duration: 3 monthsRole Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage/process two separate monthly payrolls across the UK and IrelandCollaborate directly with external partners such as ADP (UK) and CoreHR (Ireland), Pension providers, European HR and Benefit platform provider improving SLAs and efficiencies where necessary.Interact closely with colleagues in HR and Finance to provide quality services to staff internallyProcess all Long Term Incentive share related activities correctly in collaboration with the global stock plan teamLiaise with auditors, both internal and externalManage the UK tax obligations of international transferrees in collaboration with PwCEnsure, together with the Finance department, that all statutory payments are made and any Benefit In Kind is processed accordinglyComplete all annual returns including P11d and P60 processRespond to employees payroll queries with the commitment to the provision of excellent customer service to a diverse and demanding customer baseUnderstand current payroll legislation changes and apply them to the payroll process.Assist in the management of the company vehicle fleet.Qualifications / Experience Required: A minimum of 4 years experience in a similar position Payroll experience within an International Organisation an advantageCIPP qualification preferred but not essentialHighly proficient in payroll systems, ADP Freedom experience would be a distinct advantage.Detail oriented with strong organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience in managing UK and Irish payrolls (desirable) for an international company with a Global Stock Plan/Long Term IncentivesExcellent numeric and spread sheeting skills (Excel)To apply or for more information please get in touch with Ollie via email on:
