Job Description

My client is specialising in products used in a variety of environments including Warehouse, Industrial, Retail& Pharmaceuticals and are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager - Electronics to join their team based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.The Operations Manager - Electronics will be experienced with a proven track record in technology based manufacturing and industrial sectors, helping to support the growth of the company.For this Operations Manager - Electronics you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing a strategic manufacturing plan that supports the companys strategic sales plan and its projected growth.
  • Manage the key supply chain relationships to ensure uninterrupted supply of key components and/or services in a timely manner, taking responsibility for continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Play a significant role in, and take ultimate responsibility for, the selection and qualification process for key manufacturing supply chain partners such as key component manufacturers and reverse logistics providers.
  • Support the negotiation and review processes for key manufacturing and component supply contracts as required.
  • Developing the companys Quality Plan, ensuring compatibility with the CEMs existing plan, and compliance with relevant ISO standards.
  • Working with the Engineering Team to identify the requirements for Test and Manufacturing Engineering. Longer term, develop and lead an efficient skilled team to undertake the various Operations functions.
