A college within the University of Cambridge is looking for a Night Porter to join its Portering Department.The role involves assisting the Head Porter in the day-to-day management of the department.You will be responsible for various tasks, including providing a friendly reception service to college members and visitors at the College Porters Lodges, patrolling the college to ensure the safety of those living and working there, as well as the securityof the college buildings and grounds.The post requires working 37.5 hours per week, from 9.45 pm to 7.30 am, on a 5 on 4 off roster.The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a customer service role, excellent communication skills and be able to work independently. A calm and flexible attitude is essential.
