Job Description

Position: MET TechnicianHourly Rate: £50,000+ OTE (Uncapped) + £5k ‘Golden Hello’Hours: 45 Hours p/weekJoin the UK’s largest repair group in this fantastic opportunity, as a MET Technician at our busy workshop in Cambridge and take advantage of our exceptional £5,000 ‘Golden Hello’.FMG Repair Services, part of the Redde Northgate Group, is the leading and largest, comprehensive automotive repairer in the UK. With 65 equipped Repair Centres nationwide, Mobile Repair, Glass Repair and Replacement service FMG Repair Servicesboasts one of the broadest range of repair solutions and services in the industry today.As a MET Technician, we know there’s no better feeling than seeing a customers vehicle at the front of the workshop, waiting for them to collect it – it is what our business is built on.The Role

  • Accessing and removing mechanical and electrical components.
  • Removing and re-installing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Following job cards and repairing to manufacturing methods.
  • Removing and fitting non-structural body panels.
  • Assessing faults.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Previous exposure working in a similar MET Technician, Bodyshop Technician, Body Fitter, Bodyshop Mechanic, Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, Stripper or Fitter role is essential.
  • Ideally qualified to IMI, NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent).
  • Full Manual UK Driving Licence.
