Im supporting a steadily growing Cambridge based company who are developing a new platform for manipulating cells and reagents, enabling game-changing workflows for pharma. Using tiny dots of light to control thousands of cells and reagents simultaneously,they can radically alter drug discovery workflows for the pharma industry. Enabling unprecedented levels of control, the platform offers applications across immune-oncology, antibody discovery, stem cell production, cell therapy, and cell line development.Sounds cool, rightWe are looking for someone with a physics or biology background to come in and work with the software team to test hardware and ensure next-gen devices are top quality and work properly.Getting involved with the design, improving and evaluating the core platform, you will have responsibility for testing system components and workflows, problem-solving, issue troubleshooting and analysis. This will also include running experiments with cellbiologists and scientists to validate the platform and deliver results to collaborators.The Role:
