We are delighted to be working with a Global Manufacturing company to support them during an exciting period of growth.We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Technician to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing mechanical components and systems according to specifications and engineering drawings. The MechanicalTechnician will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of their products through meticulous assembly processes.Responsibilities:* Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.* Assemble mechanical components and systems accurately and efficiently.* Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks.* Inspect and verify the accuracy of assembled components and sub-assemblies.* Conduct tests to ensure proper functionality and performance of assembled products.* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the assembly process.* Collaborate with engineers and other team members to address design or manufacturing concerns.* Follow standard operating procedures and quality control measures.* Maintain a clean and organised work environment.* Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.Qualifications:* Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or in a similar role.* Strong understanding of mechanical principles and assembly techniques.* Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.* Familiarity with hand and power tools used in mechanical assembly.* Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.* Effective communication and collaboration skills.* Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.You will receive:* Competitive salary + Shift premium.* 25 Days annual leave plus bank holidays.* Excellent company pension.* Career opportunities and training.This role will be working on a weekly rotating shift pattern of double day shifts, please do get in touch if you would like some more information.
