Mechanical Project Manager - Commercial, Education, Healthcare and Data Centre projects - based in CambridgeA market leading national Building Services Contractor is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager to be based from their Cambridge office working on projects across East Anglia. This is an exciting opportunity join an expanding office for awell-established business. They offer a comprehensive electrical and mechanical installation service across many sectors including Education, Health, Commercial, Industrial, Data Centres and Retail. As the Mechanical Project Manager, you will be managing on projects of values up to £50million, so previous experience of similar large projects is essential.As the Mechanical Project Manager, you will be required to manage the materials, subcontractor, installation, procurement and drawing programme to accord with installation and specification requirements. Throughout the installation its essential you managelabour and subcontractors ensuring compliance with specification and contract documentation. Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:· Track record of delivering successful projects in a mechanical subcontracting environment.· Be driven and focussed individual.· Effective planning and project management skills.· Experience of working on large new build and refurbishment projects.· Working for a Building Services Contractor at a similar level· Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of Mechanical systems and their installation methods.· The ability to plan, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.· Time Served Apprentice or relevant Mechanical qualifications.· Hold a SMSTS.
