Mechanical Engineer (Fluidics) - Biotechnology - Cambridge This role would suit an experienced and hands-on Mechanical Engineer, with Fluidics experience, who is looking to join an exciting development team, working on a ground-breaking Biotechnology project.You will be an industry-proven mechanical engineer, taking ownership of development projects to deliver elements of their fluidics system. This will comprise many elements of the fluidic system, and you will work closely with their Lead Microfluidics Engineer to deliver these elements.You will be broadly responsible for component and sub-system design. Much of the product is still being refined and optimised, so you will be required to work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop solution concepts against requirements that are not yet fixed.You should enjoy responsibility for seeing your designs and assemblies through the complete development process; from concept and detail design to being hands-on in the lab building and testing. It is likely you will be working on multiple projects at once, requiring the ability to have a flexible but organised approach to your work.The full scope of work will not be limited to only fluidic challenges and there is also scope for module leadership for a candidate with leadership experience/ambition.Mechanical EngineerSkillset and Experience:You will be degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or relevant degree), coupled with 5+ years relevant industry experience.Essentials:
