CK Group are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join a Biotech company at their site based in Cambridge on a permanent basis.The Company:Our client builds technology for biomolecular condensate analysis, and is building a drug discovery engine based on microfluidics and machine learning.Location:This role is located in central Cambridge.Mechanical Engineer Role:You will be playing a key role in the development and evolution of breakthrough instrumentation.Your main duties will be:. Creating detailed design solutions using CAD.. Hands on system component prototyping, testing, validation, and lifetime testing.. Working with external companies and suppliers on component prototyping, manufacture and subsystem integration.Your Background:The ideal candidate for this role will have. A degree in mechanical engineering.. Proven experience in mechanical design of instrumentation in a high technology environment.. Programming experience using Python/MATLAB/C++ and the ability to modify already written scripts..
