You will be responsible for designing and developingnew processes, implement process improvements and develop new solutions. You will need to be reactive & proactive towards the daily maintenance schedule, working closely with production staff, and senior leaders, with a focus on continuous improvementThe role:

  • Design / develop new process within a Production / Manufacturing environment
  • Review existing processes - identify issues and improve where necessary
  • Assist Production / Maintenance staff when necessary with mechanical and electrical systems; motors, gearboxes, pumps, filtration systems, pistons and hydraulics, PLCs, 3 fase and single fase electrical power systems.
  • Work with lathes during the manufacturing process, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum
  • Work with and develop new prototypes for manufacturing machinery
The person:
  • Background in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, with experience of CNC lathes
  • Experience within a Production / Manufacturing setting
  • Experience with process control and improvement
