Job Description

Central Employment are pleased to be working with a successful EdTech client in the Cambridge. Due to growth and expansion, they are currently looking for a Marketing Ops Manager to join their company in Cambridge.Purpose of the Marketing Ops Manager:The purpose of the Marketing Ops Manager is to ensure the Sales and Marketing team operates efficiently by leveraging HubSpot CRM platforms that they have across all brands. You will work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to review, recommend, andimplement best practice processes and procedures within our CRM and marketing automation platforms.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of Operations Speicalists
  • Manage the launch of new partners CRM portals/business units and help the team use our systems effectively, to streamline data flow and enabling marketing and sales with lead intelligence so they can use it to have more effective conversations with prospects.
  • Develop, execute, and test sales and marketing campaign automation to improve lead generation, contact engagement, an down funnel progression.
  • Evaluate requests from stakeholders and translate the needs into automations, workflows, or configurations in HubSpot
  • Ensure the Sales and Marketing team understand data selection options and changes that may impact campaigns and data protection compliance
  • Oversee data integrity within the HubSpot CRM through data import management, data clean up, deduping, and the development of automation workflows
  • Create and manage user profiles, dashboards, process automation, and other configurable parts of the interface for end-users
  • Ensure tracking parameters are captured and attributed correctly in HubSpot, and work with marketing to fulfil needs relating to landing pages, lead capture and campaigns set up
  • Manage the optimisation of our HubSpot instances, including platform integrations, workflow development and management, templates and troubleshooting
  • Draft and update system documentation, policies, and procedures in our shared location in SharePoint
  • Assist cross-functional teams and internal resources to define process requirements and change requests related to the sales, marketing and operations processes
  • Act as though partner for Sales and Marketing leadership, with a focus on analytics and process infrastructure to support the growth and scale of the organisation
  • Proactive with identification, communication and resolution of issues that may impact a project or initiative; seeks innovative ways to remove/overcome obstacles
  • Participate in the units planning activities to contribute to the overall marketing strategy
Essential Experience:
  • 3+ years of professional experience in sales and marketing operations
  • Deep understanding of HubSpot, configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including API integrations (Sales, Marketing and CMS Hubs)
  • Understanding of funnel strategy and marketing to different buyer/lead stages and audience
  • Ability to understand complex requirements and transfer strategy into operational execution
  • Ability to advise and implement best practices with a knack for problem solving
  • Be a natural at spotting inefficiencies and be able to identify a solution
  • Comfortable with speaking up with ideas or insights
  • Outstanding attention to detail with good organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Keen judgement to know when, who and how to ask for help
