Job Description

On behalf of my client, I am looking for a Marketing Manager role that can support in developing and implementing marketing strategy and can manage marketing campaigns in the Cambridge area.Salary: Circa 35kContract: Full time/Perm 37 hours a week Mon-FriLocation: Cambridge, some hybrid working available, 3 days in the office (this may go up or down on different weeks)The RoleThis position’s purpose is to work closely with the Director of Marketing and wider marketing team to develop and implement the marketing strategy, act as their deputy where needed and manage the marketing campaigns, initiatives, communications and channelsto support in achieving reputational and recruitment objectives.To lead on integrated marketing campaigns planning, development and implementation to achieve the student recruitment targets. Covering multi-channel expertise from direct marketing, advertising both on and offline, PR, social media, SEO, events, telemarketing,lead management and conversion, multi-media (video) content and collateral production.• Covering multi-channel expertise from direct marketing, PPC, advertising both on and offline, email, PR, social media, SEO, events, telemarketing, lead management and conversion, multi-media (video) content and collateral production.• To monitor, measure, evaluate and report on campaign performance to achieve excellent return on investment and conversion rates. To seek to continually improve and hone marketing campaign performance.• Account management; to proactively engage with key departmental representatives across the business• To lead on the management and delivery of main events, including Open Days, Award Ceremonies, Job Fairs, employer events, exhibitions and careers fairs.• To line manage a Marketing and Events Coordinator and a Marketing and Events Apprentice to create and maintain a high performing team as part of and contributing to the wider marketing department.• To act as a customer experience champion to develop high performing nurture and conversion programmes, using marketing platforms and CRM, to improve the customer journey• To contribute to the development of the annual marketing plan and strategy• To share deputising for the Director of Marketing in their absenceSkills Required• Degree or equivalent• CIM/IDM Qualification or substantial relevant experience• Demonstrable experience and expertise in digital and social media marketing and advertising• Experience of developing and delivering integrated marketing plans, measuring progress and evaluating outcomes against KPIs• Expertise and experienced in event management• Line managing and developing people• Previous experience of budget management and getting cost effective solutions from tight budgets• Managing a marketing and communications function that has a busy and varied type of work and subject matter whilst leading on bigger campaigns or development projects• Experienced in design and production of marketing materials• Experience of project management• Using design packages such as Adobe Creative suite• Experience of working with multiple stakeholders and account managementThis post is defined as regulated activity.
