Job Description

JOB SUMMARYAs a member of the Marketing team you will be working to deliver growth on a portfolio of brands, through effective Marketing execution, both externally with key stakeholders (agencies, customers, consumers) and internally across relevant departments (Sales,NPD, Operations, Finance and Specifications). Supporting on Brand Management across a portfolio of brands, project management of new product launches, leading weekly cross functional meetings and the co-ordination of own label artwork. The jobholder will supportthe Senior Brand Manager across all marketing activity, project management and product launches.KEY ACCOUNTIBILITIESProject Implementation* To manage & coordinate own label artwork.* To deliver projects through the business to a set process.* To lead the weekly project meeting and manage cross-functional teams working across the business to deliver project objectives.* To develop new project standards where appropriate.* To manage the PO system for all marketing activity.Brand Planning* To support the Senior Brand Manager to execute agreed brand plans across key communication channels, in conjunction with 3rd party agencies.* To support the development and sell in of brand plans and new product development to customers.* To activate agreed Trade Marketing plans with key customers.* Provide assistance to teams in Ireland, US, Canada and Europe with samples, product information and artwork to support our brands in other territories.NPD Launches* Support in the development and launch of new products, liaising with the NPD team and wider business to deliver projects on time.* Generate and issue accurate New Product Creation Forms (NPCF).* Generate and issue accurate New Item Creation Forms (NIC) for new packaging materials.* To manage branded artwork for NPD and continuous improvement projects.Administration* SKU management - monitor products that fall below minimum run targets, monitor consumer complaint data for potential issues etc.* Ordering sample stock for internal and external teams.* Assist with adhoc projects as required.What you will need for the role:Education Level (i.e. Degree, Prof. Quals., etc)Essential: NoneDesired: Educated to A Level qualificationYears Experience (i.e. Relevant experience, Industry Experience, Management level experience, etc) Essential: 1+ years relevant work experienceDesired: Marketing assistant experienceKey Capabilities and Characteristics (Interpersonal skills, specific competencies, specific skills, etc.)Person Specification:* Full driving licence* Good written English* Be self-motivated & able to adapt to changing priorities* Be hard working, well organised & commercially focused* Be numerate and computer literate and possess a good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other Microsoft programs* Desire to learn and succeed* Ability to build relationships cross-functionally* Tenacity to take on projects through to completionKey relationships:Communicate effectively and confidently with:* Key contacts at site (NPD, Technical, Sales, Specifications, Operations, Finance)* Third party stakeholders (Agencies, suppliers)* Key contacts at sister sites and territories* Marketing team peersWhat can we offer youCompetitive salary / rate of pay25 days annual leave, plus 8 Bank HolidayOption to purchase additional annual leaveA day off work to support our charity partnersFlexible working optionsPensionMedical benefitAnd access to a HUB that offers many discounts from a range of suppliers and retailers
