Job Description

Role – Manufacturing Technician – GMP / Medical DevicesLocation – Cambridge, CambridgeshireSalary - £28,000 to £32,000 DOEAn amazing opportunity for individuals to carry out day to day operations of a sterile GMP filling facility. Due to expansion and a new purpose-built facility you will have the opportunity to join at the beginning of the project and be part of the initial set up involved in the validation and qualification of the building and equipmentThe responsibilities include,

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain excellent GMP, quality control and safety
  • An excellent attention to detail and accuracy, all paperwork to be completed accurately and in a timely manner compliant with cGMP
  • Support the sterile Team Leader at weekly meeting, KPI’s, planning and deviation investigations
  • Preparing autoclave and washer loads in accordance to procedure
  • Write and review new SOP’s and Batch records and roll these out to the team
  • The successful person requires,
  • Ideally Degree qualified in an Engineering or Scientific discipline
  • GMP experience in a production environment with experience of sterile production and demonstrated aseptic techniques
  • Desirably, experience within a Clean Room Grade A environment, Isolators or RABS
  • Knowledge of lean production or six Sigma, desirably six sigma qualified
  • Experience in overseeing validation operation of equipment and participation of SAT’s or FAT’s
