Location: Cambridge (CB25)Duration: 6 months FTCHours: 8:30am until 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)Salary: £26,000 pro rotaJob Reference: 34890Polytec are looking for a Manufacturing Technician for our client based just north of Cambridge. This is a 6 month FTC but has potential to become permanent for the right person. Responsibilities:* Conduct testing of products returned due to failure in the field in accordance with documented procedures* Support in the investigation and implementation of production related corrective and preventative actions* Ensure works orders are started and completed in line with production schedule and in accordance with relevant procedures ensuring right first time approach is maintained* Assemble devices, test, configure, pack all products/units effectively, and to the specified quality standards, HSE and ESD conditions* Prioritise and promote health and safety in the workplaceRequirements:* Experience working within a medical device regulated environment* Electromechanical assembly/PCB soldering, assembly and testing experience * Good manual handling skills and affinity for detailed manual work* Able to complete paperwork and data entry accurately* IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office* Familiar with modern manufacturing systems* Solution focused and reliable team player* Good verbal and written communication skillsPlease contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below!
