Biorbyt is fast moving,growing, dynamic entrepreneurial and international Company.Management Accountant - The Role:Biorbyt have an exciting opportunity for newly qualified accountant looking for a leap in their career from Accounts Assistant to Management Accountant to join our finance team. You will be working closely with the VP Of Operations where you will quicklygain insight to the business operations as a whole and become a key asset. This is also an opportunity for someone who is not just looking for a job but a career and wants to be part of something and wants to make a real difference in the company.Under to the supervision of the VP of Operations, ensure bookkeeping and all management reporting is completed and in a good order. In addition, you need to be willing to contribute to the smoother running of the Company.Management Accountant - Key Responsibilities:- General understanding and awareness of Biorbyt Group and its strategic aims- Bookkeeping: Using Quickbooks (order and PO entry, stock management, expenses, etc)- Bank reconciliation: reconciliation of funds received against Customer accounts and payments applied correctly against Supplier accounts- Purchase ledger: Ensure all bills are entered timely and accurately in Quickbooks by the reporting period- Sales ledger: Verify all sales invoices are recorded timely and accurately in Quickbooks by the reporting period- Payment Runs: Make sure suppliers are paid on time and send remittance advice- Credit Control: Chasing outstanding invoices and sending reminders to customers- HMRC submissions: Preparing and filing VAT returns timely and accurately- Prepare KPI reports to monitor the performance of the business- Ad hoc support to COO and MD- Answering telephone and dealing with enquiries- Manage the ordering of office supplies for staff (Stationery, tea/coffee)- Preparing monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentaries- Preparing annual and quarterly forecasts and budgets, including profit and loss accounts, budgets and cash flows- Preparing consolidated group accounts- Preparing statutory accounts for the company and its subsidiaries- Monitoring spending and ensure is kept in line with the budgetManagement Accountant - You:- Ability to prioritise- CAN DO attitude for working within a small dynamic entrepreneurial biotech company- Experience preparing consolidated group accounts- Commercial awareness, with an interest in business and an understanding of how an organisation works and manages resources effectively and efficiently- Project management skills- Qualified Accountant ACCA/CIMA- At least 1 year post qualification- Youll have experience/knowledge preparing statutory accounts including balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals etc- Month - end process- Experience of working in an office-based environment- Lively and enquiring mind with a logical approach to work, combined with analytical and problem-solving skills- Organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines- IT proficiency - Excel (basic skills plus V-look ups and Pivot Tables)- Education level: Degree level at least- Prof. qualifications: AAT Qualified or relevant degreeTo submit your CV for this exciting Management Accountant opportunity, please click Apply now!
