Job Description

Maintenance Engineer (Days Role)Alecto Recruitment is in partnership with a highly successful Manufacturer based in Cambridge, who are actively looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their existing team.The Role

  • Respond to breakdowns of production machinery swiftly, prioritizing production in accordance with daily plan
  • Carry out faut finding, repair and maintenance of all production machinery
  • Understanding and utilization of schematic drawings, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic
  • Carry out PPM/RM on all production equipment
  • Adherence to health & Safety, hygiene and current clean room standards
  • Maintenance and repair of motors, 3 phase and single phase
  • PLC control and fault finding
  • Repair/replacement of pumps, dosing units, motors, gearboxes
What we are looking for
  • A proactive attitude to troubleshooting issues with equipment and finding working solutions
  • At least 3 years experience of reactive and preventative maintenance
  • Experience in a similar FMCG industry/environment
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Engineering qualification in either electrical / mechanical
