Applications are invited for the post of Locum Consultant in Respiratory Medicine with a Specialist Interest in Severe Asthma (10PAs) at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.This post is available from January 2021 for a period of 6 months in the first instance.The successful applicant will be joining a team of 15 Respiratory Medicine Consultants including Academic colleagues. They will be joining a well supported team of 3 Consultant colleagues working in Severe Asthma, in one of the UK’s largest Regional Severe Asthma Networks. The successful applicant will be providing the highest clinical care to Asthma and other Respiratory patients, and will be actively involved in research.You will be fully registered with the GMC and have a CCT in Respiratory Medicine or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview. Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013).
