Job Description

Are you looking for your next locum role Asprey Medical Services have a new and exciting opportunity.Asprey Medical Services Ltd is seeking a Locum Band 8c Head of Radiopharmacy on behalf of our NHS client in Cambridge. Our client is seeking a Head of Radiopharmacy to join their team from September 2022 for 3 months initially. The ideal candidate will be available on a full-time basis - Shift pattern: Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours per week (flexible arrangements between 05:00 and 17:00)Accountable to the Chief Pharmacist, you will be clinically responsible to the Clinical Lead for Nuclear Medicine and managerially responsible to the Imaging Operations Manager. You will be responsible for the Radiopharmacy and associated radiochemistry service.Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications

  • At least 5 years experience within Radiopharmacy or similar manufacturing service, to include at least 3 years recent experience at senior level
  • Experience in aseptic preparation of pharmaceuticals
  • Experience as authorised releasing officer for pharmaceuticals
  • Experience of specification and monitoring of environment / equipment / products relevant to Radiopharmacy
  • Experience of personal career involvement in operational management of Radiopharmacy or similar service provision
  • Proven record in change management
  • Registered member of the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • UK accredited MPharm degree, EEA degree or OSPAP qualification
