Our client, a Cambridge College, is seeking to recruit a graduate trainee in the College Library to start in September/October 2022.Library Graduate TraineeLocation: Cambridge, CB2 Salary: £20,600 per annum (Spine Point 24 on the Universitys single pay spine) Vacancy type: Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2023, Full Time Position (36.25 hours per week).Joining a friendly Library team, this represents an excellent opportunity for a graduate who has decided on a career in Library and Information Services to acquire a basic grounding in library work in prestigious College surroundings. A degree is requiredfor this role but there is no requirement for the degree to be in a specific subject and no previous library experience is required.The trainee will undertake routine library tasks as well as assisting with specific project work.The benefits on offer are many and include 36 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays) pro rata, pension scheme with 6% (minimum) employer contribution, a free meal when on duty, and the opportunity to work in a beautiful environment.
