Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Landscape Project Manager to join an established family business that is looking to grow the team. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing projects including Costings and budgets. Ideally you will have worked within the Horticulture industry (however experience in the construction industry is also considered, with practical knowledge) and have previous experience managing multiple teams. There will be an opportunity for the right person to develop and grow within the company.Start: ASAPLocation: CambridgeHours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:30pm Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE + Company vanBenefits: Company pension scheme, healthcare benefits, 20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, Career progression available, company bonusesDuties will include:

  • Full 360 management of landscaping projects, managing the design, implementation, orders and overseeing progress against target delivery and providing client information at each breakdown milestone
  • Working on high-end projects both domestic and commercial
  • Ordering of all materials required to complete projects
  • Producing order schedules and negotiating on prices to ensure staying within budgets
  • Managing multiple teams and setting objectives within these teams to ensure targets are achieved
  • Completing weekly project meetings with the team and updating them at each stage
  • Working closely with the site foreman to ensure projects are operating smoothing and on time
  • Liaising with clients and dealing with any issues that arise
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Ensure sites are kept tidy and clean
    • Skills and Experience required:
  • Must have previous experience working as a Project Manager
  • MUST have experience in Landscaping and/or construction
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a high-pressured environment
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Highly professional and polite mannered
  • MUST be highly organised
  • Maintain and develop new and existing relationships with team, clients and contractors
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Estimating software and computer skills
  • Punctual, dedicated, team player, enthusiastic and forward thinking
  • A full clean UK driving licence
  • CSCS card and trailer licence would be a benefit
