Manager – Cell Line EngineeringPermanentCambridgeshireCompetitive SalaryMy client is a leading biotechnology company within Cambridgeshire and due to recent expansion they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Manager within Cell Line Engineering. Key duties of the role will involve managing a small-medium sized team of scientists and managing client projects as well as driving continuous improvements. This is a desk-based managerial role and whilst you need a life science background, you do not specifically need cell line engineering experience as you won’t be at the bench doing day-to-day lab work.To be eligible to apply for the position you must meet the following criteria:- Be educated to Bsc/Msc/PhD level within a Life Science subject- Have at least 2 years of experience working in a managerial/team lead position in a Life Science or Biotech manufacturing company- Have a passion for team management and seeing a team develop and succeed- Have excellent customer service skills, ideally having worked in a service delivery/customer focused position previously- Have excellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with change management would also be highly beneficial for the role,If this sounds like a role you would be interested in then please apply below
