Working on behalf of our client who are world leaders in inkjet technology, we are seeking a Junior Technician to join the team on a permanent basis on the outskirts of Cambridge due to company promotions. You will be producing samples for customers andwriting reports. If you are a hands on person with great attention to details and would like to start a career in Engineering then this is the roles for you! Start: ASAP Duration: Permanent Location: Outskirts of Cambridge, Cambridgeshire Salary: £21,000 - £22,000 pa Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm OR 9am-5pm Benefits: 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, Pension scheme, AXA health care and discretionary Christmas bonus Experience in manufacturing or quality & testing would be desirable however full training will be provided. Duties will include: - Setting and Operating printing rigs to produce various sample types for customers - Working from a production schedule - Attending weekly meetings - Completing sample reports - Reviewing data from reports and inputting onto data management system - Liaising with internal & external customers - Maintaining a clean and tidy working area, always following health & safety - Support and assist other team members when required - Working collaboratively and contributing to improvements Skills and Experience: - Experience within Manufacturing, Quality or testing would be desirable - A genuine interest in Engineering would be desirable - Great attention to detail is essential - Excellent communication skills are essential - Organised - Ability to solve and overcome challenges If you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
