Job Description

Robert Half Cambridge have partnered with a company in Comberton, Cambridgshire in their search for an Junior Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.This role offers hybrid working with two or three days required in the office a week. Salary offered up to £30,000 depending on experience with company bonus.The Role:

  • All areas within Accounts Payable: Invoice processing in multiple currencies, GRN matching, PO review, statement reconciliations, vendor queries, payments.
  • Processing of bank transactions
  • Assistance with balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assistance with Intercompany transactional processing/reconciliation.
  • Processing of staff expenses, company credit card and petty cash transactions.
Experience:
  • Relevant accountancy qualification (i.e., AAT)
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Previous experience of working in a busy Finance team desired, but not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Well organised and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise own workload
