Java Developer - Cloud AnalyticsSalary up to £75k + Benefits + stock optionsLocation: CambridgeOur JavaDeveloper (Java, Scala, Kafka) will join a unique, innovative and industry leading company based in Cambridge. This role is perfect for someone with strong experience of either Java, Scala or Kotlin and any big data technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, Flink etc.The successful Java Developer would be joining a close-knit, family orientated, fun culture and high-energy team and work within an Agile environment. As the Java Developer you will be responsible for constructing and build a next-generation analytics database technology, which will help solve big data problems of the future such as powering the smart cities and autonomous vehicles, in turn reducing pollution.Our Java Developer will be building out a greenfield project working with a variety of technologies - Java, Scala, Kotlin & Python, alongside real-time big data processing such as Kafka, Spark and Hadoop, which will be scaled onto the cloud using containerisation tools such as Docker & Kubernetes.Essential skills and experience required for the Big Data Developer:
