Job Description

IT Support EngineerLocation: CambridgeSalary £35,000 – £40,000Hybrid – 2 days a week in the officeMy client is a reputable property management service provider. They are looking for an experienced (2 years minimum) IT Support Engineer to join their established team. This role will include both hardware and software responsibilities up to 1st /2nd line andtouching on 3rd line support.Responsibilities

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and configuration
  • Working to agreed SLA’s from opening to closure of technical issue
  • Asses the complexity of issues and escalate where necessary
  • Ensure high levels of customers service and support is extended to all employees
  • Facilitate new starters with email log ins and hardware configuration
  • Cyber security – ensure the network is secure and mitigate any potential threats posed
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of four years’ experience held in a support role
  • Strong excel skills would be desirable.
  • Previous experience working within an IT team is essential.
  • Forward thinker, be able to triage complex issues.
  • Independent worker, be able to be left with a task and complete it in an orderly manner
