This is a hybrid role- the office is based in CambridgeMain responsibilities Analyse and evaluate current I.T systems and services Identify system requirements Map and document interfaces between existing legacy and new systems Review and identify options, creating solutions that fit the business from a technical and commercial perspective Conduct requirements analysis workshops Collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders and external partners and service providers Translate non-technical requirements into highly technical specifications Create High-level design documents (HLDs) Develop, analyse, prioritise, and organise requirement specifications, data mapping and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow. Work closely with technical teams to ensure the technical viability of solutions Create and execute test plans based on business process to ensure rigorous testing before rolling out live systems Provide documentation of all processes and training as neededThe successful candidate should be able to demonstrate competencies and experience in the following areas: Proven experience as a system analyst and ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills A methodical approach and attention to detail to ensure the development and implementation of effective solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong understanding and experience of Software Development life cycle processes and methodologies Good business acumen and commercial awareness with a solid understanding of how organisational processes work Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities and work to deadlines Experience working on complex Business Change/Improvement, Strategic, BAU and I.T service transition projectsDesired skills Experience/exposure with MS SQL Server, Visual Studio, TFS (Team Foundation Server) Azure DevOps and CI/CD frameworks, BDD (Behavioural Driven Design) Automated Build / Automated Release, API integrations (REST / SOAP) are desirablePlease note that due to the high volume of responses we receive, only successful applicants will be contacted.If youd like to learn more about this role, please get in touch with Natalie!Please only apply if you have the right to work in the UK.Devonshire is an equal opportunity employer and we encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds.
