Job Description

Can you effectively lead a service desk We are currently searching for a new Service Desk Team Leader to join the team that helps the worlds largest and most innovative companies grow revenue, activate channels, accelerate pipelines and create value. We are looking for a people person with strong leadership capabilitieswho enjoys solving problems and creating solutions, ultimately streamlining the process that customers go through. This is real opportunity where you can make changes and drive forward progress.Important BitsSalary -£30,000 - £35,000 Per annumLocation -CambridgeJob Type Full time / PermanentBenefits -Profit share, BUPA healthcare & 5% contributory pension, 33days holiday (including bank holidays), increasing every 2 years you work withus, A wide variety of company socials.The RoleYoull be leading a team of around 5 Service Desk Engineers as well as taking responsibility for people management, recruitment, annual appraisals, training etc. This will include managing shift assignments with the Service Desk team to ensure all targetsand customer SLAs are met.You will monitor and review ticket/call queues for your team as well as take ownership of issue resolution as the final escalation point for Service Desk. By monitoring and observing, you will develop processes and reporting to ensure the Service Desk isoperating efficiently as well as drive forward improvements you feel valid.We are looking for a leader who enjoys solving problems with a background in IT Knowledge (Networking, Active Directory, Office 365, Desktop/Server Management, Operating System (Windows, Mac Linus) Support).As well as this youll have experience working with Service Desk tools and technology e.g. (Ticketing systems, CRM, Remote Access Tools etc)This is a great opportunity for a candidate with leadership instinct, you could have a customer service background with strong working IT knowledge and have been a team leader or manager previously.
