IT Project SpecialistPermanent, Full-Time postUp to £47,423 per annum, dependent upon experienceCambridgeChrists College and Sidney Sussex College are two of the older 31 colleges of the University of Cambridge, situated in the heart of this historic town. Both Colleges are jointly seeking to appoint an IT Project Specialist in a new collaborative role witha 50/50 split between both Colleges. The role will provide an exciting opportunity, in a dynamic and fast-paced IT environment, to explore creative solutions with established and emerging technology.The role holder will have primary responsibility for planning, organising and integrating the IT services required to support the Colleges business and academic activities as they follow a strategy to standardise their underlying systems. You will reportto the IT Manager and deputise in their absence.You will require good strategic vision, technical knowledge and the ability to run multiple projects implementing a diverse range of IT solutions. You will also require excellent team working and inter-personal skills. You will gain in depth knowledge ofthe running of College systems, and have opportunities for ongoing learning and development within two vibrant communities.This is a full time, permanent post, involving 36.25 hours per week, with some flexibility necessary. The salary is based up to point 52 of the Universitys single salary spine, currently equating to £47,423 per annum and is dependent on experience.Benefits include an annual leave entitlement of 28 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays; an excellent contributory pension scheme with a minimum employer contribution of 6%, free College meals when on duty and subsidised membership of the Colleges gym facilities.For a full list of all benefits provided please visit the College website.This post would suit a good team player with excellent communication skills.
