Job Description

Internal Sales AssistantAn exciting position has become available for a full-time Internal Sales Assistant based in Bar Hill, Cambridge selling power tools and machinery. The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary depending on experience.The candidate will work Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5.30Role Requirements

  • Knowledge of equipment is good but not essential as full training provide.
  • Previous internal sales skills are desired.
    • Will have a confident, bright personality.
    • Will have a good telephone manner.
    • Should have knowledge of electrical products.
    • IT Literate.
Role Responsibilities
  • Manage and control the effective flow of information both from and to customers.
  • Assist with various pro-active sales initiatives.
  • Assisting with general office duties as required.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of requests for information and requirements from internal sources whether written or verbal.
  • The checking of all information and data for accuracy and completeness, before communicating with the relevant party.
  • Regularly progress and follow up requests for information and approvals from all sources.
  • Display a pro-active, can do attitude and promote a team approach amongst sales personnel in order to provide effective customer service levels.
  • Maintain suitable records to enable the swift retrieval of all information pertaining to customer records.
  • Handle day-to-day queries and issues and satisfactorily resolve such items.
  • During day to day customer management.
