Job Description

Following an internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen for an Industrial Materials Sales Trainer to join a world renown manufacturer that is a leader in cutting edge microscopes used in scientific, materials research and healthcare environments. As an Industrial Materials Sales Trainer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the Solutions Manager, spending a good deal of time travelling internationally (in non-COVID times!) and across the UK.
  • Developing and training the teams so they can deliver highly technical presentations showcasing the company’s products and services.
  • Organising and running technical roadshows for the UK team.
  • Online group training with 150 global salespeople.
  • Collaborating with key materials science and natural resource customers.
    • We are looking for an Industrial Materials Sales Trainer who has the following skills and experiences:
  • Expert knowledge of industrial materials science (Ceramics, Polymers, Catalysts, Composites, Nuclear Materials and Metals) sectors.
  • Solid relevant sales and/or commercial track record.
  • Strong training and presentation skills.
  • Ability to convey scientific information into solution sales collateral.
  • Strong relevant scientific academic background.
  • Microscopy and/or natural resources experience an advantage.
