Job Description

Leading software company in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Solicitor/In-House Corporate Legal Counsel on a full-time, permanent basis. Salary indicationsc£50,000 to £70,000Joining a busy, knowledgeable team in Cambridgeshire, this is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor or legal counsel to utilise their expertise in corporate law to play a key role in the continued growth of the company. Handling a variety of matters to includedrafting and negotiating contracts, this is a rare opportunity to join a business with a strong reputation for global success. To put you forward for this position, we require your ideal salary and location and notice period.Responsibilities

  • Drafting and reviewing contracts
  • SaaS agreements
  • Liaising with professionals internally and externally
  • Tracking and organising agreements
  • Negotiating licenses
  • Working with the legal and IT team
  • Managing trademarks
  • Risk management
The Candidate
  • Qualified legal counsel or solicitors with 3-5 years PQE
  • Technical proficiency in corporate matters and intellectual property
  • Experienced in drafting contracts
  • Previous experience in trademark matters would be advantageous
  • An excellent negotiator
  • Strong IT skills
  • A strong communicator both written and verbally
  • Works well within a team as well as independently
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality
  • Flexible and open minded
