Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced HR Coordinator or Junior HR Advisor looking for the next step in their career, to join a well-respected business partnering team for a global business in Cambridge. Supporting one of their international divisions, you will have demonstrable HR generalist experience and highly developed communication and time management skills, all key to success in this busy and dynamic role.This will involve a wide range of operational activities across -recruitment, performance management, reward and benefits, employee engagement, talent development, succession planning and employee relations, and project support. Working collaboratively and proactively with line managers you will facilitate positive employee engagement by being the trusted source of expert advice on matters from employment law and company policy, including contract variations through to flexible working,maternity and paternity and more. You will pride yourself on the ability to provide sound HR metrics supporting the business in effective decision-making, as well as advising on best practice in recruitment, onboarding and the retention of talent.The successful candidate will need to:

  • be working towards a CIPD level 5 qualification
  • have experience working in a HR generalist role at HR Coordinator level, looking to step into a HR Advisor role.
  • be computer literate with knowledge of HR information systems, preferably SuccessFactors
  • be passionate about supporting managers through change, recruitment and on-boarding processes
  • experience of working in an international business is desirable, although not essential
