Job Description

You will be the first line of administration support to the People Team. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth running of the People Team function.Specific Role & Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and managing all employment records and relevant systems and personnel files.
  • Responsible for all on/off boarding activities, including right to work checks, preparing employment contracts, reference requests and all other relevant correspondence with starters and leavers.
  • Carrying out inductions for new starters both in the UK and online with international starters.
  • Entering all relevant data into the People Team system.
  • Assist and collaborate with Payroll and IT for relevant queries and information needed for new starters and leavers on a monthly basis and as required.
  • Supporting the Recruitment team with arranging interviews (over Teams and face to face) and managing relevant offer paperwork.
  • Raising and processing purchase orders and invoices in line with the Accounts team.
  • Managing DBS checks for those employees requiring security checks and security access cards.
  • Respond promptly to all requests from either the People Team or other employees and ensure the management of relevant email accounts / mailboxes are monitored and kept up-to-date.
  • Provide additional support to the People Team when required in adhoc requests or project work.
  • Ensure all personal files are kept updated and relevant to comply with data protection.
Knowledge and Skills required:
  • Good understanding of MS Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and One Drive
  • Previous experience or use of using HRIS and ATS systems an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal and with the ability to build strong professional relationships.
