Job Description

The main purpose of the role is to:

  • To ensure that services are delivered and maintained as per SLAs.
  • To assist the on-site Facilities Supervisor with all tasks where necessary.
  • To complete client actions in a timely fashion.
  • To manage and adhere to the site timeframes at all times.
  • To make sure the smooth running of the operation whilst on duty.
  • To comply with policies & procedures of the client.
Main Duties:
  • To collect deliveries from the loading bay and distribute within the agreed timescale around the building as required. All deliveries should be checked for appropriate address. Any damages, breakages, any leaking liquids or powders should be noted and returnedimmediately.
  • To help set up meetings rooms for client meetings, establishing the client requirements. To ensure Audio Visual and network connection equipment is present & serviceable.
  • Dishwashers - load and unload all crockery and cutlery using the correct trays and wash programme, keeping the coffee points clean and tidy.
  • Empty all bins as required and transfer to the designated refuse area.
  • maintain minimum stock levels of print room consumables. Maintain minimum stock levels of all stationery items.
  • Confidential data - transfer confidential data from the consoles on all floors to the secure container in the loading bay ready for collection by the appointed supplier. NEVER leave confidential data consoles unlocked or sacks open or unattended.
  • To respond to cleaning requests when required (within SLA) and to carry out service cleans to washrooms, replenishing stock as needed.
  • To receive, sort and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail and courier items within the agreed SLA.
To be successful in the role, you will need:
  • Educated to higher education or college level.
  • Good administration skills.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • Confidence in speaking to others in a professional environment.
  • Previous handyman experience an advantage.
  • Legionella testing training an advantage.
  • Stock control management an advantage.
  • IT knowledge of word and excel an advantage.
  • Proven team working skills.
