This is an exciting role in a biotech start up with operations in the US and UK and led by an experienced and successful entrepreneur with a history of building successful biotech companies and taking them to market.The company is now looking for a full time Head of Finance, who is able to either be based in London or travel to London a few times a month. Key aspects to the Head of Finance role include:* Contributing to the companys strategic goals* Management of one part time member of staff* Development of monthly reporting and procedures* Development of tracking departmental costs against budget* All budgeting and forecasting* Ensuring risks around contracts particularly in the US are minimised and contract negotiation* Overseeing the US legal entity and ensuring it runs smoothly* Overseeing the IT provider, insurances and HRIn order to be successful in this Head of Finance role, you will be a qualified accountant with at least 7 years post qualification experience and up to date IFRS knowledge. You must have worked within Life Sciences or the Biotech Sector and have a high degreeof IT literacy along with experience of finances and operations both in the UK and US. Experience of working with Xero would be useful. This Head of Finance role comes with a great package including equity, a bonus of 25% of salary and BUPA.
