Job Description

I am seeking an exceptional individual, to join a Finance team of 7, for the Head of Finance role. This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join this educational body and play a key role in its success. You will support the Bursar inall aspects of the financial management, planning and reporting and analysis of the institutes financial affairs.The successful candidate will hold a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) and preferably have a background within education, the wider public sector or not for profit organisations. In addition, they should be able to demonstrate substantialexperience within Finance at a senior level, specific knowledge of accounting regulations and guidelines as well as a professional, positive, and proactive approach to work.Key duties

  • Statutory and management accounts
  • Financial strategy and planning
  • Payroll and employee benefits
  • Operational financial management
  • Cash-flow and investment management
  • Trust fund management
This position offers 34 days annual leave, free on site parking, and the free use of gym and swimming pool.
