Not only will you lead the development and delivery of data projects in a custom-built centre, this data will be contributing to the future of crop production in a fast-paced and highlyvaried environment. This will be a fast-paced and varied role, with numerous opportunities for skill development and personal growth in an emerging sector.What youll be doing:Youll be tasked with the development of data tools that will be used to help with business growth and meet their goals. Working across the business to understand their needs and requirements youll have to look at where data can be used to add value and automate/improvewhat they do. Youll also work to evaluate their current data tools and build out their data tech stack for storing their data, pipelining and visualizations. Youll also be looking to shape out and build a team around you. What experience youll need to apply: A track record of leading a data team ideally in a start-up environment. Technical skills with Python/R as well as a cloud based data environment. Strong stakeholder management skills will be vital as youll be taking briefs, understanding requirements, problem solving and presenting insights and solutions back to them. Communication skills are key in this one as youll be dealing with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis. Experience building and recruiting a data team. Management experience looking after junior members of staff. An interest in Agriculture is a real bonus.
