The Extra Care scheme offers independent living and24/7 support to residents,so they can enjoy the privacy of their own self-contained property. In the last 3 years they have commissioned 16 new Extra Care schemes andare always putting people at the heart of what they do.What is the day-to-day of the role:

  • Providing leadership and directionin the effective operations of Extra Care services.
  • Leading a team of Regional Senior Managers.
  • Reporting to the Executive Director of Extra Care.
  • Responsible for the high performance of services and continuous improvement across London and the southern region.
  • Leading, guiding and supporting the development and growth of team members.
  • Managing financial and operational constraints to achieve targets and ensure services are affordable and value for money.
  • Complying with the highest standardsof care, legislations and company policies & procedures.
  • Delivering service improvements, benefiting both the customer and employees.
  • Producing informative and relevant reports for board and executive level.
  • Work efficiently and collaboratively to reach effective outcomes and shared commitment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working at a senior level and leading large, dispersed teamsin a complex organisation.
  • Experience working with the elderlyin social care in a housing support setting.
  • Degree level education.
  • Management/Leadership qualifications and commitment to further learning and development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passionate about providing the highest quality of care.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Strong influencing and positioning skills.
  • DBS update service required.
