Hardware Tester / Validation Engineer (ASIC RMS PVT Silicon Validation). A global technology company is seeking an experienced Hardware Tester / Validation Engineer to take ownership of defining, setting up and performing IC validation, characterisation and hardware system testing. The company has won a reputation as a highly innovative leader in their field, dedicated to developing state-of-the-art graphics technology products, optimising productivity for an international client base. As a Hardware Tester / Validation Engineer, you will work on exciting and varied projects. You will be required to write test plans for ASIC validation, define test methods and identify equipment required for test activities, operating across the whole testing life cycle. You will work with IC designers to understand validation requirements and software teams to define block test scripts, compiling block validation reports and characterising ASICs across PVT. Requirements:*You have experience of Silicon and microchip testing / validation *Youre confident in writing Python test scripts for test automation*Youre familiar with ASIC validation and can lead failure investigations and RMA analysis *Desirable: experience with compliance testing of USB2 and USB3 using USB generator and analysers Youll be joining a talented, collaborative team based at stylish offices in Cambridge.
