Job Description

This market leading technology business in Cambridge is expanding across Europe, Africa, India and SE Asia, and require the skills of a Group Financial Accountant to come on board and take ownership of the company Group Accounting.

Thanks to this expansion comes the opportunity for an experienced Group Accountant to join a highly experienced finance team and work directly with an ambitious Group Financial Controller looking to reshape how the finance function operates globally.This is a highly technical role and along with taking ownership of the group reporting, managing the production of monthly financials and making sure all appropriate controls and processes are in place. You will be working closely with various overseas subsidiariesbut with a focus on India and the UK.Youll have to have solid technical knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and youll be liaising with various stakeholders within the business, including the commercial and sales teams, procurement, engineering and R&D departments.Due to the technical nature of the role, wed love to hear from candidates with strong IFRS experience in technology and software industries, or a first-time mover from a top Accountancy Practice would also be of interest.
