Graduate Software Release Engineer - degree, graduate, coding £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience) + benefits, CambridgeAn exceptional position has been created for a Graduate Software Release Engineer to join one of Cambridges top technology companies who regularly receive positive coverage in the media. This intelligent software house has produced a state-of-the-art piece of technology via the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning.If you have graduated from a top university in computing, science, physics, natural sciences, engineering with at least a 2.1 or above and are looking for your first career in technology then this could be the one for you.A keen eye for detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. An understanding of programming in C++, Python, C# or Java would be useful as would being able to script in Bash or PowerShell. Familiar with Linux / Windows / Mac Operating Systems.Must have strong client communication skills with the ability to simplify technical subjects to non-technical users. If you have any experience of software testing this could prove very useful but not essential.Happy to change directions in what you are working on.As a Graduate Software Release Engineer, you will be involved in number of technology areas: helping the development team with new features and products changes, looking after the software testing process, improving the processes before the software is release and finally liaising with clients.Please note that this is not a software development role.
